HECHO POR LA VENTANA
Project Films of Daily Life in Ybor City
"Hecho" seeks to bring the hidden world of Ybor City to the surface, showcasing a community where things are made (the title ‘hecho’ means ‘made’ in English). Although the area is often associated with nightlife and tourism, Ybor City is a highly productive place. It has a creative energy that is founded in its history of cigars, of bread and coffee. Today this has expanded to beer, food, woodwork, repair, fabrication and engineering. "Hecho" utilizes storefront window space along 7th Avenue to project films of the daily life that is found within Ybor City.
